Trail Description Eagle Ridge Equestrian trail (8+ miles) in State Park joins River Walk Trail (along the Republican River to Ft. Riley), making a total of 18 miles of trails to ride. Trails can be a bit challenging, located in the Kansas Flint Hills area, and rather rocky. Horse shoes usually recommended.

Campground Approximately 15 to 20 campsites with water, electric and sewer. Bathroom, hitching posts, corrals and wash bay station available.

Directions I-70/exit 295(US77) and go north approximately 7 miles to State Road 57 and turn left. SR 57 will take you into the state park. Park office number is 785-238-3014 they can give further directions to Eagle Ridge horse campground

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes)

 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
